About
Thirteen years in Shenzhen. One person, not a company.
I'm Wulong Yi (易武龙). Since 2013 I've been sourcing, developing and shipping product from Shenzhen for overseas buyers — first for export cross-border e-commerce companies, now independently for small brands and Amazon sellers.
What I've actually done
The job was never "find a factory" — factories advertise. The job was working out which of them would actually deliver what they promised, at a price that survives freight and returns, on a timeline that doesn't break your launch plan.
Over 13 years that means reading a lot of quotes, walking a lot of factory floors, and being wrong often enough to have developed some rules about it. Which suppliers quietly change the material mid-production. Which MOQ numbers quoted by email are aspirational. Which "factory" is actually a three-person trading office with a sign on the door.
That experience is the product. You are buying 13 years of pattern recognition, not a list of suppliers.
How I work
- On the ground in Shenzhen. I visit factories. Photos from a supplier's own salesperson are not verification.
- Not a trading company. I don't take margin on your goods or quote you a house brand. My income is your fee, and only your fee.
- Small batches welcome. I work with 500 and I know what that changes about the approach.
- I say no. If a product doesn't make sense at your target price and volume, I'll tell you before you spend money finding out.
- You talk to me. No account managers, no ticket queue, no layers.

My work history
2013 to now, continuous employment in export sourcing and product development. I don't publish a LinkedIn link here yet — ask and I'll send you the profile directly, along with dates and employers.

This website
Built and updated in public, on a stack I can read line by line. If I ever stopped being able to maintain it, that would tell you something useful.
The first few clients
Early clients will be asked for a one-line reference once a project completes. Until then, I'm the newest agent on any list you're looking at — and I know that.
The honest version
I started this business independently and my track record here is short. What I can offer instead is thirteen years of being the person in the room with the factory, a published price, a written scope, and fast replies. If that's not enough for you, it's a reasonable position — and a bigger established agency may genuinely be a better fit for a large order.
